The Grand Opening of Smitten!

Last Saturday was Smitten’s “official” grand opening, and I’ve been attempting to post these pictures I snapped that morning since then. I had already edited them once, but somehow lost the file, so had to start over. Then, of course, life just got busy. So, I’ve finally got them ready to share with you all.

These are photos of not only our little room, but of other areas of the store as well.

Enjoy!

The new sign outside. There’s quite a glare in the picture, but the print is a very striking blue color.

Some of our vignettes on the lawn area.

This is a neat rabbit sprinkler. Just the right color and amount of chippiness! Does it work? Don’t know, but it’s awfully cute.

Black scrabble-type tiles. Awesome!

Into the kitchen~colorful paper straws.

It’s difficult to make out, but the little wire bird in the background is a photo/card holder. It’s adorable.

Zinc place cards and paper placemats.

These little clips are one of my favorite things in the entire store.

Tower of goodies. I think the little birdcage on the bottom right has already sold.

This corner belonged to a great pink tin frame that sold that day.

Now, off to our space.

Anne and myself in front of one of our displays. I’m not sure why I have such a weird look on my face.

More Smitten Pictures

Today was the first official open day of Smitten, the new shop where Anne and I have a room filled with vintage treasures.

It was a great day!

The owners, Jennifer, Debbie and Paula, did a fabulous job arranging things just so for their first day of business. Their “grand opening” is planned for May 26th and they are promising even more goodness to look forward to.

I shared pictures of our room a couple of days ago, so here are shots from the rest of the shop. Enjoy!

Visitors feel welcomed and at home the second they walk through the door.
